Mighty Mike Schermer @ Lucca

One of the pleasures in my musical schedule is getting to work with my old friend Mighty Mike Schermer. He's one of the best guitarists that I know of as his work with the likes of Elvin Bishop, Marcia Ball, Maria Muldaur and Vanessa Collier will attest. If that weren't enough, he's also a great singer and songwriter with several amazing records to his credit. His latest release on Little Village Foundation Records and CDs is entitled "The Legend of Michael Ray Pickens and His Old Man Country Band" wherein he dips his toe so very naturally in the Country & Western genre with an original set that you'll want to alternately cry in your beer and do the two-step. I'm so grateful for my association with Mike and I hope you'll be able to come see us at this wonderful venue.
